Ethical Use of AI Policy

Sirius Geopolitics uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools to streamline operational tasks and support internal workflows. Our clients engage us for expert human judgment, strategic insight, and high-quality analysis, and that work is always delivered by qualified human professionals. AI is used only for low-level administrative or efficiency tasks, never for producing final advice, assessments, or recommendations.

1. Principles

Sirius Geopolitics follows five core principles:

  • Human expertise is at the centre. All research, analysis, strategic advice, and client deliverables are produced by human experts. Clients pay for human judgment, not automated output.

  • AI is for efficiency only. AI is used solely to handle low-level “grunt work” (e.g., summarising public documents, structuring outlines) that fits within an entirely human-managed workflow.

  • Integrity and transparency are upheld, always. All final outputs reflect expert human reasoning and are reviewed extensively to ensure accuracy and strategic relevance.

  • Confidential, sensitive, or client-provided material is never entered into publicly available AI tools.

  • AI is managed responsibly. Use is carefully controlled, limited to appropriate tasks, and continually reviewed for safety and relevance.

 

2. Prohibited Use

AI will not be used for:

​

  • Producing final advisory products, insights, analysis, or recommendations.

  • Entering client information, proprietary data, sensitive material, or anything commercially confidential into public AI systems.

  • Generating strategic assessments or geopolitical analysis without full human authorship.

  • Any activity that misrepresents AI-generated drafts as expert work.

  • Uses that compromise privacy, security, or professional integrity.

 

3. Data Protection

Sirius adheres to strict information-handling standards:

  • All client data is protected and stored securely.

  • No private client information is ever fed into third-party AI systems without explicit permission.

  • AI tools are chosen based on appropriate security safeguards.

  • Human review processes ensure all analysis is factual, unbiased, and aligned with professional standards.

 

4. Human Oversight and Final Output

Every deliverable (reports, analysis, briefings, strategy documents, presentations, speeches, or advisory products) is:

  • Researched, written, and analysed by a human expert

  • Reviewed for accuracy and strategic insight

  • Tailored to the client’s needs

  • Free from unverified AI-generated content

  • Clients receive human-led, expert-driven work, every time.
